Alvin Quiddaoen

Alvin's vision for the Steadfast Creative Worship School reflects his deep-rooted passion for music and the rich tapestry of cultural influences that shape Hawaii. He aims to create an environment where talents can flourish, breaking the conventional boundaries of music education. In a place where traditional Hawaiian values meet innovative expressions of worship, Alvin seeks to empower kama’aina to stay in the islands while nurturing their artistic ambitions.

Drawing from his own experiences, Alvin understands the transformative power of music, not only as a form of expression but as a vessel to connect with the Holy Spirit. His journey from the vibrant folksongs of his childhood to leading worship in dynamic church settings has equipped him with a unique perspective on the role of creativity in worship. By intertwining music theory with the freedom of expression, he encourages students to explore their own voices and styles, fostering an atmosphere where creativity can thrive.

Alvin's approach is rooted in hands-on experience, blending classical music training with contemporary worship. He envisions a school where students are not just learners but collaborators, encouraged to experiment and innovate. With a curriculum that highlights both the artistry of songwriting and audio production, students will be prepared to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of worship.

The Creative Worship School is more than a place of learning; it is a sanctuary for those seeking to deepen their relationship with the Holy Spirit through creative expression. Alvin’s journey has taught him that creativity flourishes amidst both hardships and celebrations, and he aims to cultivate resilience and joy in his students. By equipping them with the tools they need to share their unique gifts, Alvin is confident that students will impact their communities and beyond.

With Alvin at the helm, Steadfast Creative Worship School’s vision is to be a beacon of hope and innovation in the islands, inspiring a new generation of musicians to embrace their calling and ignite the creative gifts that lie within them.
